December 2, 2019 - We spend the day at Rucker Trailer Works.

The trailer frame was cracked and the axle was bent. Lippert Components is aware of this and most newer model vehicles will have more support beams or a few metal tacks near the axles and shocks. Of course our vehicle was out of warranty.

We got a new axle and leaf springs, wheel bearings and a new tire installed.  They installed support beams across the trailer from one side to the other. We upgraded to a 5 leaf spring instead of the 3...

November 15 - December 1, 2019 - We spent this time in Casa Grand(e) Arizona at Palm Creek RV and Golf Resort.  It's a walled community within the city of Casa Grande, Arizona. It truly had the RV resort activities, hot tub, swimming pools, tennis, softball, lawn bowling, pickle ball, bingo, par 3 golf course, etc, etc.  Kim loved it here, I am trying to get past the dry sand and desert feel.  I did enjoy the community, but there was no grass, and it was all sand and dirt and rock.

November 12 - 15, 2019 - We spent this time in Deming, New Mexico. We were dry camping for four days in the desert. We were lucky to have a Walmart nearby.  There was a Valero gas station nearby that we used to fill our water tanks and also used the dump station

We let the dogs run free as we were on 10 acres of dry sand dune land. We joined a group called Boondockers Welcome and they accepted our offer for as many days as needed.

It was about 6 miles off the highway, but we felt safe...

November 8 - 11, 2019 - We were in New Braunfels, Texas doing some genealogy work for Kim's daughter. There is a cemetery close by where all the relatives are buried. We stayed in Cranes Mill Park, part of Canyon Lake, a Corp of Engineering Park. We have been to a few of the Corp parks on are travels and have not been disappointed.

This city is in the top 20 of places people are moving too.  I can see why they are moving here, it was chilly, but it warmed up during the day. There is a ton of inf...

November 2 - 7, 2019 - We spent this time in Rainbows End RV Park, this was the first park established by the Escapees community, located in Livingston, Texas.

We became Texas residents as South Dakota had some limitations on what we could do as native South Dakotan's.  We registered the truck and trailer and also obtained new drivers licenses while here.  You have to have your vehicles inspected, our vehicles were $7 dollars a piece. If you go over 26,000 pounds on your truck or trailer, its a...

October 30 to November 1, 2019 - We stayed at a park about 30 minutes from Kim's brother Rick. Waggin' Tail Ranch RV Resort was tailored to those with pets. They had fenced yards.  You backed your rig into the fenced area, they used cattle gates for the rig entrances with a pole in the center and then a human gate to the right for us to enter/exit.  The dogs loved the grass and fenced area.  We did too, as we did not need to get dressed and take them for a walk.  The dogs frolicked with the oth...

October 22 - 28, 2019 - Turkey Creek RV Village is an Escapees park in Hollister, Missouri.  It is a few miles from Branson, Missouri. We went to a show and spent two days in Silver Dollar City. It was during the pumpkin festival week. We got some awesome pics during the night time. They have some really cool roller coasters there, I went on 2 of them.  I would not want to be in Branson during the summer. Traffic was bad enough during the winter.

Wifi - no wifi at the campground., just in the cl...

October 10 - 21, 2019 - 370 Lakeside Park is the park were we started our adventures.  We stopped to see family and friends. Kim's cousin, Darrell had a BBQ for us on the weekend. I had an eye exam and doctors appointment.  I also flew down to Tampa, Florida to see my son and, while there, my grandson graduated from the Marine Corp boot camp.

Kim had to pack up and move the trailer down to the parking lot for dry-camping for a few days, because the park was full for a weekend. She hitc...

October 7 - 9, 2019 - We stayed two days at Yogi Bear RV Park in Knightstown, Indiana. This was a stopping and resting point. I needed blood work done before we made it to 370 RV Park in Missouri. We also went and looked at bigger RVs while there.

Wifi - no wifi at the campground.

Cable - no cable service, we used our dish service

Phone Service - verizon phone service worked

October 4 - 6, 2019 - Pastime City Park is a little city park near the University of Ohio. Kim is a big Ohio State Buckeye fan.  I never watched college football till I met her. We were here to watch the Ohio State Buckeyes play Michigan state. If you did not watch the game, Ohio State won big time.

What an awesome site to see the area and the players as they walk toward the entrance. We got to witness the Buckeye walk and the skull session.  Wow.

Wifi - no wifi in the park

Cable - we had about 45...
