We visited the city of Hermann, Missouri on June 2-4, 2017. We actually stayed at the camp sites owned by the city. We had the opportunity to walk around and ate at a place called the Tin Mill owned by the Dierberg's family. We stopped by the Dierberg's Estate Vineyards tasting room, and spent a little bit doing a wine tasting.
We had visited Stone Hill about a year or so before, so did not take the opportunity to go there. We walked around the quant little town and stopped in a shop called Blondie's Dolls. The owner stated her mother had been collecting barbie dolls for as long as she could remember and they opened up this shop. The barbie dolls were on display, but none were for sale. We did find some gifts for the grandkids.
While we were there, Kim started talking to Jim and Steff, who had only been full timing for a few months. The gave us their card, and only looked at their site a few times since then. Looks like they have some updates and they have a nice site built. I learn a little bit from each of the sites I view.
There is a lot of updating going on in Hermann, streets, shops, etc. It is a city we would like to visit again. Three days would be sufficient to see the whole of it all.
