We spent Friday, August 3, 2018 in downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming. We got to see the Cheyenne Depot Museum train museum. We also went to the movies in the afternoon, and there was a nice train display in the Frontier Mall. We got to see the Cowgirl Museum, as well as walk around a cool place called The Wrangler. All western clothes and hats. I so wanted to buy a really nice cowboy hat, but have to talk the accountant (Kim) into allowing.
We entered a few art galleries while there as well as walked around a bit. We saw a really neat liquor store.
We spent Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum. They have a neat set of old western carriages on display as well as artist paintings. This was a really neat display of artifacts from the western days starting in 1897. Come to think of it, everyplace we have been has displayed the paintings of all the local artists. While we were there we got to walk around the county fair. Mostly displayed were 4-H and Future Farmers of America information.
