Rainbows End RV Park, Livingston, Texas

November 2 - 7, 2019 - We spent this time in Rainbows End RV Park, this was the first park established by the Escapees community, located in Livingston, Texas.

We became Texas residents as South Dakota had some limitations on what we could do as native South Dakotan's. We registered the truck and trailer and also obtained new drivers licenses while here. You have to have your vehicles inspected, our vehicles were $7 dollars a piece. If you go over 26,000 pounds on your truck or trailer, its a heftier fee. Check with local state requirements, as you may need a CDL if at or over the 26,000 pound mark.

Be aware that Texas is an expensive state to become a resident. We are paying double our truck and trailer insurance. But the state does afford us more constitutional rights than South Dakota.
